Christian Louboutin has set out to reinvent what you think about nude nail polish. That’s right, the iconic shoe designer is now upping the bar for nail polish. Fittingly, Louboutin first released a red nail polish that matches the sole of the designer’s iconic shoes. However, that was just the beginning. The coveted French designer has now moved on to other shades, specifically nudes. Just take a trip to Loubiville, the a fictional landscape of all-white peaks and passageways inspired by the bottle’s dramatic silhouette. (The website promises that as color is introduced, the city will transform, offering secrets of beautiful things yet to be revealed.)
We’re very excited about the Nudes nail polish ($50) from Christian Louboutin. The rose gold cap and carton details show off the varying nude tones, from vanillas to chocolates, to soft pinks and khakis. The Nude colors will complement any skin-tone and elongate the look of hands and feet. The custom-designed, patented triangular brush picks up the right amount of formula, without air bubbles, to deliver flawless, chip-resistant coverage. A highly pigmented, super glossy formula delivers in just two coats the effect of 20 layers of traditional lacquer. Leave it to Louboutin to up the ante with anything the design house produces, nail polish included.
