Notice how Jennifer Lopez always has amazing, glowing skin? We don’t know exactly what her makeup artists use on her, but we went on a search to find the best highlighter in an attempt to mimmic her fabulousness.

We had heard good things about Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector, but we had to see what it is all about for ourselves. This pressed powder is available in six different shades and works as a highlighter or you can sweep it across your face for an all-over glow. Even though this is a pressed powder, the formula is slightly creamy, which we love. It feels substantial and gives the powder staying power.

Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector is a luminizer; it absorbs and reflects light, giving you a gorgeous glow. With a $38 price point, we were a little skeptical, but with more than 1200 almost perfect reviews on Sephora and a rave review from YouTube makeup star NikkieTutorials, we were extremely curious to say the least.

We purchased the color called “Moonstone” because we were drawn to its peachy, pale gold glow. After our makeup was applied, we applied the Shimmering Skin Perfector to targeted areas to give us a highlight. We used a small brush and put a small amount on the top of our cheekbones, the tip of our nose, in-between our eyes and around our browline, the dip of the upper lip and a dab in the middle of our chin. The results were stunning! What a difference a little bit of this powder made. It completely woke up our look and we were instantly addicted. The beautiful results lasted the entire day. We’ve never had a highlighter this good and powerful before.

There’s just something about making your skin glow that made us feel instantly younger. Youthful skin has a glow and this powder gives you a youthful shimmery glow. Apply a small amount to wake up your look during the day. Be more generous for a glowy, sultry evening look.

Bonus Tip: Apply a small amount of Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector to the middle of your bottom lip after you apply your lipstick or gloss. Your lips will look fuller and it will give them an irresistible glow.
