The carved frames have a braided band along the top edge and acanthus leaves on the front of the arms. The turned legs have fluted details and blunt arrow feet with rosettes at the top corner. The bergeres have recently been professionally upholstered in a black and white striped fabric with double piping trim details with new cushions. These gorgeous chairs are made in France, estimated between 1900-1910.
