Spectre

Spectre once again takes us into the sexy and exciting world of 007. The title “Spectre,” meaning ghost, is a layered story that indeed involves around someone from James Bond’s past. The opening scene is in Mexico City at a Day of the Dead celebration providing the perfect imagery to set the tone for the flick.

A cryptic message from the past leads James Bond (Daniel Craig) to Mexico City and Rome, where he meets the beautiful widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal. After infiltrating a secret meeting, 007 uncovers the existence of the sinister organization SPECTRE. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of SPECTRE, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks.

In other words, this mission is very personal. However, what can be especially appreciated about Spectre is that its tone is lighter than Skyfall. Where Skyfall was serious and somewhat bleak, Spectre has more moments of humor to lift the mood. Couple that with the signature Bond action sequences and the audience is in for a delightful ride.

Spectre is a blockbuster film that won’t disappoint fans of the James Bond franchise.
