Estate of the Day: $4.5 Million La Rochelle Georgian Revival Masterpiece in Bar Harbor, Maine

0

La Rochelle ($4,500,000) is one of Bar Harbor’s most notable and treasured structures. Built in 1902, this Georgian Revival masterpiece was the town’s first brick summer cottage. Currently the building and grounds house the Maine Sea Coast Mission’s main offices, archives and Christmas program. The gracious public rooms where many very special events have been held over the years are simply breathtaking in scale and architectural detail. There are forty-one rooms in the 13,000 plus square feet of living space, manicured gardens and lawn and nearly three oceanfront acres.
