Wow, $1,000,000 seems to be the price tag for everything today.
How far does $1 million go?
The Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi is packing a prosperous punch with its new “Million Dollar Package.” All those Benjamins buy you two first-class airfares, a week-long stay in a palatial pad at the hotel, and a chauffeur-driven Maybach at your beck and call. Plus, the hotel is upping the ante with day trips (in a private jet, of course) to Iran, Jordan and Bahrain.
So what is a stay like there? The seven star hotel shows the beauty of Arabian culture. Traditional decor is used inside mostly in silver, gold, marble and glass mosaics. The chandeliers are made of Swarovski crystal. There are 114 domes (including the Grand Atrium which is higher than the dome of St.Peter’s Basilica in Rome), 200 fountains, the luxurious and technologically advanced Conference Centre, The marvellous Blue Salon and so on. The simplest suite is called Palace Suite. Each of them contains at least three rooms and a 61″ plasma screen.
There are 302 grand rooms in Coral, Pearl and Diamond categories with a floor area of 55 square meters. The high-quality elegant rooms are furnished to the highest level comfort so hotel guests can relax in total luxury including a 24-hour butler service. The Gulf Arab royalty has a reserved separate floor. The hotel is also the official guest place of Abu Dhabi’s government with 22 three-bedroom suites capable of hosting for each heads of state and their entourages.
Emirates Palace offers palatial restaurants which bring the world’s finest cuisines. Gourmet meals for example exquisite seafood of the Sayad and magnificent view of the Gulf gives fabulous experience for the visitor. The Caviar Bar is also popular because of its world class champagne menu and caviar selections with live traditional music.
But the haute hotel isn’t alone in this amenities arms race to land a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.
For the same price, Leading Hotels of the World’s “Around the World in 80 Days” package offers jetsetters a 28-night trip with stops in 12 luxe locales around the world, including a camel safari in Dubai and tea time at a traditional Japanese ceremony.

$1,000,000 I would travel in several countries with that money instead of experiencing a luxurious stay in a hotel, I would love to visit several south East Asian countries like Thailand (http://koh-chang.info/ ), European countries and so on.
