Stubbs & Wootton Velvet Slippers

0

Founded by Percy Steinhart in Palm Beach, Florida, in 1993, Stubbs & Wootton makes velvet slippers ($450) modeled on those first worn by Prince Albert with black tie. They’ve since become perfectly acceptable to wear casually as well, around the house or on the sidelines of a polo field. Whimsical designs like these make them especially fun.

Launched in 1993 in Palm Beach, Florida – Stubbs & Wootton instantly became recognized as classically elegant and fashion forward. Our tongue-in-cheek designs derive their inspiration including everything from history to surfers. Giving the slipper its due recognition as an all-purpose shoe, we are responsible for making evening slippers relevant once again.

Borrowing our name from 18th-century English artists, Mr. George Stubbs and Mr. John Wootton, both of who specialized in painting scenes of gentlemanly sporting whose influence is so fittingly tied to our eternal pursuit of elegance.

Brilliant with a tuxedo. Perfect with shorts, and everything in between, our European production ensures superior quality forever.
