Sometimes what makes something so special is that it doesn’t last forever. We are entering the halfway point of September and the limited edition fall beers are now on the shelves in stores. The Samuel Adams Harvest Collection contains an assortment of our personal favorites. We love the Ruby Mild that was inspired by mild ales of the English railway boom and the smooth, sweet, malty brew contains a hint of ruby color and delicate hop note. The wildly popular Octoberfest is the perfect answer to a chilly fall day. If that’s not enough, the Harvest Pumpkin Ale contains real pumpkin and warming spices like ginger, cinnamon & nutmeg that give this brew a smooth inviting character. This style, first brewed by American colonists, is hearty & spicy making it perfect for the crisper days of fall. Three more delicious beers complete the collection, the classic Boston Lager which is good anytime of year; Hazel Brown with its sweet caramel, toffee and hazelnut; and the hoppy Latitude 48 IPA.
