Hennessy Black is the brand’s first major launch since 1961. The new cognac drink from Hennessy has a blend of Jasmine, daffodils and orange flowers mixed with citrus, honey and grapes. The company hopes to take cognac drinks to a new market with this mix and move from cognac market alone to mixed spirits. Although cognac is usually seen as a drink not to be mixed, Hennessy Black comes with recipes for variety of mixed drinks such as Hennessy Black ice (with lemon juice and sugar); Hennessy Black Bull (coffee Liqueur and cola with ice); Hennessy Black Spice (ginger, syrup and lemon juice); and Hennessy Black Royale (champagne, lemon juice and syrup).
