Autumn is a beautiful season with a vibe all of its own. It also might be one of the most delicious seasons with its intoxicating flavors. Apples, maple and honey combine with the flavors of tea and gin for a drink that you’ll love to sip. Bring on sweater weather and bring on this delicious cocktail called Leaves Falling. Yum!
Leaves Falling
1. Steep 8 bags of Earl Grey tea in 2 cups boiling water. Sweeten with 2 to 3 tablespoons brown sugar. Chill.
2. Steep 4 bags of Earl Grey tea in about 3 cups of gin for two hours.
3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 1/2 ounce prepared tea, 2 ounces Earl Grey–infused gin, 1 ounce maple syrup, 1/2 ounce Honeycrisp apple juice. Shake, then pour into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an apple slice.
