It’s a French wine but it’s named after the Hamptons. It’s backed by American rock star royalty and it’s made by an award-winning French winemaker.
Diving Into Hampton Water, a collaboration between Gérard Bertrand and rocker Jon Bon Jovi, has just started hitting shelves across the East Coast.
Hampton Water is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvedre and Syrah; before bottling, the wine sits in French oak for 30 days, leading to an elegant finish not usually found in youthful wines.
This is a medium-bodied wine. It’s fruity and it’s dry. It’s aged in French oak, so you get that oak on the back end.
